I am sorry to inform readers that Cllr Liz Atkinson, who was Mayor of Lambeth in 2006/07, died on January 24th.
Many Larkhall residents will have met Liz as she performed her official duties throughout Lambeth. Liz was a great councillor: modest, compassionate, and caring. Her husband Richard and daughter Kate have set up a fund in her memory, that will provide an education scholarship for a Lambeth resident. Donations can be made at http://www.lizatkinsonfund.org.uk/
